Easy Guitar Tabs Do Improve Your Guitar Playing Ability!
Easy guitar tabs remind me of the song, "Pipeline", that sixties song which captures the spirit of those surfers and guitar players alike - past, present, and future.
Those surfers have to be in great physical shape to be able to capture and be in control of those huge waves. So their energy output must be a lot greater than a song although "Pipeline" requires a lot of energy on the rhythm and lead but not as much as a surfer expends.
I've been playing water volleyball for 20 years now and can tell you that easy guitar tabs are not that hard to learn.
I have modified the "Pipeline song", originally done by the Chantays, to my own sense of rhythm and "Pipeline" spirit...I even throw in my own licks while playing rhythm. Talk about challenging! Woooohoooooooo!!! I still play it the original way as well.
To play the song right, get the guitar tablature or sheet music to learn the song right. After that, you can develop your own style and improvise from there as you wish.
The Chantays, Junior Brown, The Ventures and a host of other bands have done the song "Pipeline". I recommend learning either sheet music or guitar tablature to get a good foundation of learning how to play the guitar. Then, once you master that, you can do your own music! Woohoo!
I have an analogy for learning guitar music. Feed somebody food to cure their hunger. Teach them how to fish so that they can feed themselves. Play some guitar tabs for someone. Then teach somebody to play something that they know and love.k tabs so that they can play the guitar. And then they can "feed" our souls with great music! :-)
Not only that, but then both of you could take turns playing classic rock tabs (lead), and the other player could play rhythm. Or you could do like Lynyrd Skynyrd does in their song, "Free Bird". Get three guitar players with two of them playing classic rock tabs and the other one playing rhythm guitar.
Learning or guitar tablature, is a great way to improve your knowledge, skills, and ability on the guitar. Guitar tablature is a map of the guitar fretboard that shows you where notes and chords are on the guitar. To phrase this more technically, "Tablature - A six-line staff that graphically represents the guitar fingerboard, with the top line indicating the highest sounding string (high E). By placing a number on the appropriate
line, the string and fret of any note can be indicated."
Of course, that's an easy guitar tab. For something more challenging, I suggest getting guitar tablature to improve your guitar ability. To do that, go here to order your own easy guitar tabs online! Almost any song you want to learn on the guitar, SheetMusicPlus.com has it for you!
Anyway, back to easy guitar tabs and the Twilight Zone...
The song "The Twilight Zone" from surf rock bands gets away from Rod Serling's TV show sound
track after the introduction because there's not much to the TV intro as far as guitar
tablature goes. The narration is great, however, and does end with an orchestral crescendo after
Rod Serling says, "You have just entered into...The Twilight Zone." From a guitarist's point of
view, I can see why you would need to develop a rhythm progression after the guitar tab
intro. The rhythm along with the bass and drums makes the "body" of the song.
You can still get easy guitar tabs and chords for "Twilight Zone" and other classic TV shows.

Anyway, The Ventures do some heavy jamming as the song progresses. The rhythm guitar player plays the
chord progression E-G-A-B six times (the latter three chords being bar chords) and then plays
the G and B bar chords, rounding out the progression. Then the cycle starts over until you get
to the chorus.
I don't know what the chorus progression is, but I could get the tablature or sheet music on it
which will show what chords and notes are being played. Just messing around on the guitar, I
believe the chorus progression (all bar chords) goes something like this: B Major, G sharp minor,
C sharp minor, A Major, and B Major. Hmmm, that's only part of it, but it's a start. For a more
thorough and complete song chart, I would suggest checking out
The Ventures easy guitar tabs.
It's pretty cool that The Ventures' guitar tablature is still available since The Ventures
have been around since the late 50's and early 60's and still jammin' so I feel grateful and
fortunate to find their "ancient" guitar tabs still around. You might like easy guitar
tabs that are more modern or more to your style. Check out the search box at the bottom of
the page and find your favorite band's guitar tablature that you like and that fits your style.
Getting back to "The Twilight Zone", Golden Earring, probably most famous for their hit song,
"Radar Love", did a song called "The Twilight Zone" in the early 90's. Their song, in
this instance, has more guitar tabs to play lead guitar than The Ventures' has. Then again,
The Ventures have a lot of other songs for lead guitar tabs like their song "Night
Train" as well as many others.
Classic rock music is my favorite kind of music. Easy guitar tabs aren't always easy, but they
are still fun to play. Perhaps you yourself have knowledge of music that you could share with

Easy guitar tabs can prove to be very helpful when you are trying to figure out some challenging
guitar rhythm and leads. I have several songs that I want to learn how to play better. Some of
these songs are "Highway Star" and "Lazy" by Deep Purple, and another one is "Pride and Joy" by
Stevie Ray Vaughan. Ritchie Blackmore plays great lead in Lazy so studying easy guitar tabs
will be a must since Blackmore flies on the lead in both songs. "Highway Star" and "Lazy" both
came out on the album Machine Head. Click here for Deep Purple Tabs.
Meanhwile, Stevie Ray Vaughan also plays great rhythm and lead in his song "Pride And Joy" as
well and throws in some wah wah at the end of his song. "Pride And Joy" is on the album Texas
Flood as well as greatest hits. Lots of great easy guitar tabs rhythm and lead with his
music.
